I love Gordon Cooper, he had the right stuff.

Gordon Cooper got the film and held it to the light.

The silver craft was plane to see.

Clear and clean and bright.

He put the celluloid away

Into a paper sleeve

And sent it off to Washington.

Nobel but naive.
